DRIBBLING TO VICTORY

DPS Bangalore South has added one more feather in its cap by winning the International Inter - school basketball tournament consecutively for a second time organized by DELHI PRIVATE SCHOOL, SHARJAH-UAE from 31st October to 04th November 2014.
Malavika Vishwanath studying in Std. XI G has been selected to represent India at the 12th FINA World Swimming Championship to be held at Doha from 3rd to 7th December, 2014. She is one of the elite group of 4 women swimmers from India who has been selected to participate in the prestigious event which will witness a confluence of the best swimmers across the world. Her accomplishment is extraordinary as she is competing in the WOMEN’S CATEGORY in spite of being just in high school! We would like to wish her all the very best and are extremely proud of her achievement. CONGRATULATIONS!!

It was a proud moment for DPS BANGALORE SOUTH when the cricket team defeated their opponents from Ebenezer International School in the under 16, Division 1 KSCA Cup schools tournament in style. It was a fight to the finish and was replete with exciting moments which had the audience at the edge of their seats. Shivakumar, the swashbuckling batsman of the DPS team scored a total of 120 runs in 2 innings which comprised of 11 boundaries. He missed a ton by one run but played a key role in leading the team to victory. DPS scored 265 in their first innings and 60/5 in the second innings. Ebenezer scored 265 in the first innings and 103/6 in their second innings.
KUDOS TO THE TEAM FOR THEIR LAUDABLE EFFORTS!!!

How do I define “Rocket Science” in simplest way ?!?@#?!? Well……. Here we have some explanation about rocket science in shortest and simplest way……
  • Rocket is a machine which can be used to fly up in space. It's a large object which travels at very high speeds to enter space and explore the universe.
  • Rocket Science is the branch of science that deals with the study of rockets, its construction and its mechanism. It's an advanced form of engineering which has been intensely studied upon for some decades now. It requires a lot of practice, precision and technique to it.
  • Rocket scientists are essentially aerospace engineers who specialize in the design and manufacture of spacecraft; they work with the principals of science and engineering to create vehicles that fly within or above the Earth's atmosphere.
