Flavours of India Activity

Written by
Walking through the corridors of class II felt like strolling the food streets of India where at every turn and every corner one could just stop over and get to sink their teeth into any delicacy of their choice from any part of our country. Be it the momos from Northeast, the avial from Kerala, the bisibelebath from Karnataka, the mouth watering rosagullas and rasmalais from West Bengal, makki di roti and Sarson Ka Saag from Punjab, the mouth watering sel roti from Sikkim, you name it and it was there. It was a truly memorable journey through the cuisines of India.

The township activity

The model township created by our little Dipsites of class I had everyone stare in awe. The caring little doctors with efficient nurses in toe at the hospitals, the sincere postmen, the diligent firemen waiting to get on to the fire engine and run to the rescue, the enthusiastic innovative salespeople at the mall, the ever smiling employees at the banks waiting to help their clients, the ATM machine that was giving out money at the insertion of a card and not to forget the very eager staff at the health club rejuvenating the tired and stressed out helped all forget their worries and bask in the moment. It was a truly unique township where everyone had a smile on their face.

Technology has changed our lives a lot. First came the train. Then the early version of a car and then the Wright brothers invented the first aeroplane in 1903.

“SATYAMEVA JAYATE” (Truth alone triumphs)

Written by
Without disappointment, you can’t appreciate victory.” This day, the victory of Sanskrit language as the sole, living and flourishing Olive tree in the history of world culture, encourages hoards of people like me to get past the disappointments that occur on the road less travelled. I was bestowed this honour at the valedictory ceremony of Sanskrit Samman Week, on 13th of August, 2014 by CBSE at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghathan, Delhi. My project deals with the oneness of the World by using Sanskrit language as the source , direct or indirect , in the evolution of various languages in the World. It tries to establish links to connect European, Persian, Mongol and Middle East languages in the context of style, grammar, phonetics, vocabulary and source words.
